Open Door Staffordshire offers work experience placements to people who are struggling to get back into work or are looking for a change of direction following redundancy.

Opportunities:

Open Door Staffordshire is a work experience placement scheme which is done on a voluntary basis, meaning that there is no cost to the employer. Placements usually last for 12 weeks, but can be increased or reduced dependent on the needs of the candidate and the placement manager. Most candidates we work with have been struggling to find permanent paid employment due to lack of recent work experience. The placements help them gain up to date working skills, knowledge and experience and a reference to aid them into paid employment. This is a very important scheme and enables us to do our bit to support people who want help to get back to work or to take the step into their first job.
