Sinead - Museum Volunteer

"I have volunteered in the museum service for nearly four years and have done many things, ranging from accessioning objects to working in exhibitions.

I enjoy working with my peers in the museum and learning new things about the area I live in, as I am originally from the United States. I enjoy the opportunities the museum gives me for building up my experience in the sector.

If you are interested in history and working in the museum then volunteering is for you! I e-mailed the County Council looking for volunteer opportunities in the museum service and got a response back from Helen Johnson for a volunteer interview".
