Shirley - IT Buddy
Shirley has been a volunteer in her local library for over 5 years and loves helping people with their PC problems or questions. Many people don’t know how to use a computer, and browse the internet, so Shirley helps guide people through the IT maze.
The IT Buddies are committed and enthusiastic volunteers who provide a great service in public libraries. They are there to act like a helpful friend, and guide you with your PC problems and questions, to help you move forward a step. Whether it is setting up an email address, emailing a photo to your loved ones, or just beginning to search on the internet for the first time, your IT Buddy will spend an hour with you and help you on your way. And even better, it is free to all!
